Email contact

When you email us, we use your email address, message and any information you voluntarily provide to answer your question. This is based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, or on steps you request before entering a possible contract. We cannot reply without contact details. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing. Access for this purpose is limited to authorized people and providers delivering and storing email.

Hosting and security

The website runs on a Hetzner server and uses Cloudflare for connectivity and security. Technical data such as IP address, requested page, time and browser information are processed to deliver the site, investigate faults and prevent abuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website. We do not use this data for personalized advertising or automated decisions about you.

Cloudflare operates globally and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Its privacy policy describes applicable transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and its follow-up. We then delete it unless a legal retention duty or a specific dispute requires further storage. Technical error and security data are retained only as long as needed for investigation and protection. The web server does not keep a general visitor access log. Email us for information about your own data.

Cookies and preferences

We use no analytics or advertising trackers on this website. Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies to prevent abuse. Equipment choices for guides are saved in your own browser. You can remove cookies and these preferences in your browser settings. The website remains usable without opening a video.

Interest and emails

We use your email address and preferences to plan our offering. We keep your interest for up to 12 months. This is optional: it does not reserve anything or give priority or guaranteed availability.

Your interest is saved immediately. We use your email address to limit duplicates and keep your preferences, based on our legitimate interest in planning our offering. Packages and travel month are optional. A new anonymous submission does not overwrite existing preferences. Request deletion through the withdrawal link or [email protected]. Interest is deleted no later than 12 months after submission or the latest confirmation; a separate newsletter subscription remains unchanged.

Only the separate optional checkbox subscribes you to the booking launch message, camping news and offers, based on your consent. You receive a welcome email with an unsubscribe link; no confirmation is needed. After a previous unsubscribe, resubscribing requires email confirmation. We record the consent text, version, language and time. You can unsubscribe at any time without an account; package interest remains separate. An unsubscribe key and evidence remain to respect your choice.

We use Postmark (ActiveCampaign) to send emails and handle delivery problems. Postmark receives the email address, message content and technical delivery data. Open and click tracking are disabled. Postmark may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States; its processing terms include standard contractual clauses for transfers. Message content and delivery data follow the configured retention period (45 days by default). Undeliverable addresses and spam complaints block further sending through the relevant message stream.

Your rights and complaints

Contact us to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or to object where legal conditions allow. You may withdraw consent for processing based on it. Legal obligations may limit erasure; we verify identity appropriately. You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority at www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Some guides can load a YouTube example when you choose to open it. This connects to Google/YouTube. Written instructions are available without opening the video. Source and example model remain visible.
