A quiet morning at the campsite.
Coffee, a simple breakfast and time to enjoy the view. Small ideas for a gentle start to your day at the campsite.

At a glance
Set out your breakfast things the night before and keep the morning simple. Being outdoors does not need a busy schedule.
Start with one simple plan
A campsite morning can start small. Open the tent, look outside and think about what you feel like doing that day. There is no need to choose an activity straight away.
Perhaps you have breakfast together at the camping table first. Perhaps you stay seated a little longer with a warm drink. Make room for that moment before the rest of the day begins.
Keep breakfast easy
Put your breakfast things together in advance: food, drinks and the utensils you actually use. That saves you searching through different bags when you get up.
Choose a meal that is easy to prepare on the stove. Your package includes a table, chairs, cooking utensils, crockery and a cool box. Bring your food and drinks. Chop vegetables at home or plan a simple one-pot meal for the first evening.
You will find the same simple approach in our tips for cooking and eating at the campsite.
Let the day suit your group
Not everyone starts the morning the same way. One person likes heading out early; another prefers reading or a quiet breakfast. Discuss what you enjoy before filling the whole day.
Leave room for the weather and surroundings too. A walk can wait until later, and a morning at the campsite does not have to be wasted time.
Give your own pitch some attention
A table and camping chairs are included, giving you a place to sit together outdoors. When setting up, think about where you would like to have breakfast and how to keep your things within reach.
Whether you choose Family, Glamping or Roof: the destination and pace of your stay remain yours.
