What should you bring on a camping trip?
A clear packing list for your personal belongings, alongside the tent and equipment in your rental package.

At a glance
KampKlaar provides the tent, sleeping equipment and camping basics. You mainly bring clothing, personal belongings, food and drinks. Use this list alongside the package contents.
Your personal packing list
Pack for your destination, the weather forecast and length of stay. This is a practical starting point to add to yourself.
- Clothing, a warm layer, rainwear and comfortable shoes.
- Toiletries, towels and sun protection.
- Personal medication and everyday items.
- Phone, charger and perhaps a power bank.
- Identity documents and campsite reservation details.
For your own plans, add swimwear, walking equipment or a game for the journey, for example.
Bring food and drinks
The gas stove, gas canisters, camping kitchen, cooking utensils, crockery and cool box are included. You bring food and drinks yourself.
- Drinking water and something for the journey.
- Ingredients for a simple first meal.
- Breakfast, coffee or tea and a few snacks.
- Spices, oil and other ingredients for your menu.
For the first evening, try a one-pot meal so there is little to do after setting up. The cool box is included; plan your shopping and take perishable food out of the fridge just before leaving.

What you do not need to bring

- Camping kitchen, gas stove and gas canisters.
- Pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates and cutlery.
- Table, chairs and lighting.
- Storage boxes you can use as a cupboard.
- Cool box and washing-up equipment.
Check the package details for sleeping equipment and transport. Keep your personal packing list alongside it to see what you still need to pack.
